Had a good chat with new Broncos F Adam Rossignol that you can listen to above. I think he will end up being a good fit here. So far so good with a few quality scoring chances in his first game and an assist in his second. The other side of the deal has a good chance to work out as well. Tanner Muth made an impression in his first game for Kootenay with a huge hit and a scrap. His physical game should help them out down the stretch and into the playoffs.
I also have a post-game interview with Assistant Coach Darren Evjen that I’m having trouble getting converted from my iPhone today. I will take care of that tomorrow. Taking most of the day off hockey to just relax. Right back at it tomorrow when we get to some trade deadline talk. I also wanted to say a quick word about the trading between Swift Current and Kootenay over recent years.
The deadline is coming up on Tuesday. It seems like a lot of teams aren’t sure whether or not they are ready to add and make a run for it. It could be quiet or maybe the prices will start to come down before time is up.
Could you please remind me how Evans and Howorko got injured? Both have been out a while.
