Wildcats Camp Date

Here is a quick note from the Wildcats…

The Swift Current Diamond Energy Wildcats will be hosting their fall tryout camp on Friday, August 10, Saturday, August 11 and Sunday, August 12 at the Credit Union iplex in Swift Current.

The purpose of this camp is to evaluate prospective players, and choose the 2012-2013 edition of the Wildcats.  The camp is open to players who are eligible to play bantam or midget hockey in the 2012-2013 season.

The Wildcats are proud members of the SFMAAAHL and are entering their seventh season in existence.  The Wildcats have won the prestigous MAC’S INVITATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP twice and competed in the provincial finals three times.  The Wildcat organization is proud to helped move on thirty-four players to college/university hockey in Canada and the United States.  The Wildcats play a twenty-eight game regular season schedule and annually participate in two or three tournaments plus exhibition games.  The team practices three times a week (Monday, Tuesday and Thursday) from 4:15pm – 5:30pm.  The players also participate in a weekly fitness program.  Terry Pavely will be returning for his sixth year as head coach.

The cost of this camp is $85.00 and cheques can be made payable to the Swift Current Wildcats.  Registrations need to be received by August 5, 2012 to ensure your spot in the camp.  Email head coach Terry Pavely at pavelyt@yahoo.com with any questions in regards to the camp.  Registered players will receive an email by August 8, 2012 with their camp schedule.
