Bronco Prospects Make U16 Teams

Congrats to the three Swift Current Broncos prospects who have made the cut for the Western Canada U16 Challenge Cup.

Jackson Keane is the only Bronco rep on Team Manitoba, while Wyatt Sloboshan and Brandan Arnold cracked Team Saskatchewan. Each prospect is playing at the Midget AAA level this season. They were all quite impressive at training camp and will be very much worth watching on the boxscores. Sloboshan plays for the Saskatoon Contacts and Arnold plays for Tisdale, so Bronco fans can check them out when their teams are in town to play the Legionnaires.

Congrats to all three on their achievement.

Teams from BC and Alberta will announce their rosters on October 16th. Travis Child and Max Lajoie made the Albert shot list back in August. Glenn Gawdin made Team BC’s short list as well. We’ll see if they are able to crack the final roster. Gawdin and Child attended the NHLPA mentorship camp in the summer.

So for out of the 1997 born players the Broncos have signed Gawdin, Child and Lajoie.

The big club is in Saskatoon tonight. Our pre-game show will be live on The Eagle 94.1 FM at 6:30pm.
