The only local sports talk show in southwest Saskatchewan is back on the air tonight.

Home Hardware’s Overtime runs from 6pm to 7pm every Monday night live usually from Boston Pizza’s lounge in Swift Current and on The Eagle 94.1 FM. This week we’re moving from BP to Mitchell Field in order to preview the final regular season home game for the WMBL Indians. We’ll get some reaction from the park to the Indians clinching top spot in the east before the start of the playoffs on Wednesday.

Rider Nation is buzzing as the team is 5-0 to start the season and fans are getting excited about their prospects. We’ll talk about how things have started with CP Riders Reporter Brad Brown and Mitchell Blair of the Riders broadcast team on CKRM and a writer for Riderville.com. We’ll also chat with “Rider Girl” an actress and Rider fan bringing her Rider Girl show to the Lyric Theatre on August 11th.

Swift Current Broncos Assistant Coach Darren Evjen will join us as we’re getting closer to the start of their annual hockey school. Hockey season is just around the corner and we’ll talk about his hopes for this year’s club as well.

We also want your thoughts!

Join the discussion every Monday from 6pm to 7pm by texting us at 306-773-0941, tweeting Shawn @shawnmullin or come say hi at Mitchell Field. It’s a great night for ball and we hope to see you there!

Listen live at 94.1 FM or click here for our online stream.

Overtime is brought to you by Home Hardware in downtown Swift Current.
