The Broncos made their second trade in as many days as they added F Andrew Johnson and F Connor Sanvido. You can read a more detailed story I did on the trade by clicking here. I’ll also have some more thoughts on the moves of the last two days in a future blog post. In short I think this is a very low risk move with a possible high reward. At the very least the Broncos get two solid veteran forwards for a 4th round pick… which is hardly a sure thing. At the same time both guys have shown flashes of potential to be more significant contributors than they have been. At the very least they fill some veteran holes and strengthen depth. At the most? They take another leap forward and end up as productive top six guys.

Another quick note I want to congratulate Broncos Head Athletic Therapist Jamie LeBlanc on being named to the staff for Team West at U17s. The fact that Hockey Canada continues to recognize his work and invite him to these types of events certainly speaks highly to his reputation.
