Here’s the latest from Elmwood Head Professional Jeff Chambers:
Getting to the end of the season but the course still is in great shape. Unfortunately the necessary evil job of Aeration is occurring tomorrow and Tuesday. If you have a guest coming to play this week please make sure to give them the heads up and we will be discounting green fee’s for the inconvenience.
Thanks to the participants that braved the weather this weekend and here are the final results for the Tel-rite Triathlon.

Jared McKenzie and Trevor Lyster total score 140
Keith Miyashiro and Shaun Ring total score 143

Monday – open times to book all day but aeration is being done on front nine so regular play will be interrupted
Tuesday – open times to book all day and Ladies night is at 5:15pm shotgun start. Aeration will be completed on the back nine.
Wednesday – Men’s night is at 3:15pm and worth taking the afternoon off work to come play. Deuce pot is over $1,500 and will make a great pay day for someone. Diamond Energy is sponsoring our men’s and Ladies nights this week.
Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday have no big events booked so open times to play each day.
On Saturday we will be having a demo day for the new SLIDR Taylormade driver. The longest tested driver they have ever produced! Also as a treat, we will be test driving the newly launched Tight Lies fairway woods from Adams golf. I got to try them out in Saskatoon with Tom Watson and they are great to hit and easy to get out of tough lies. They have been advertised heavily on the golf channel and they are very impressive so come out on Saturday from 12pm to 4pm to give them a try. You won’t be disappointed…
Lobster Pot Golf Tournament – Texas scramble format with 14”inch holes. (we all wish for bigger golf holes and now we will get them!) followed by Lobster at 6pm. This should be a great year end wrap up event leading into the fall.
