Rider Nation is puzzled after a loss to the basement dwelling Winnipeg Blue Bombers in the Banjo Bowl over the weekend. What happened? Winnipeg Sun writer Kirk Penton joined us to follow-up on our chat before the Labour Day game and discuss what happened this weekend. We also had Brad Brown the CP reporter on the Riders home games with us on the show to get both sides.

Staying with football, it was an exciting weekend for the Swift Current Comp Colts as they opened the season with a huge victory over Moose Jaw Vanier. Colts Coach Derek Murdoch joined us to discuss that and their home opener on Saturday.

The Swift Current Broncos have a home and home with Moose Jaw coming up this weekend to wrap up the pre-season. Former Warrior and current Bronco Andrew Johnson came on with us to discuss his early days with the Broncos and facing his former team.

We always want your thoughts!

Join the discussion every Monday from 6pm to 7pm by texting us at 306-773-0941, tweeting Shawn @shawnmullin or come say hi Boston Pizza.
