The only local sports talk show in southwest Saskatchewan is back on the air tonight.

Home Hardware’s Overtime runs from 6pm to 7pm Monday nights from Boston Pizza’s lounge in Swift Current and on The Eagle 94.1 FM.

The Swift Current Broncos have struggled on the road this season and are off to Lethbridge on Tuesday against a Hurricanes team that has fallen to the bottom of the WHL standings early in the 2013-14 season. We’ll be joined by Hurricanes broadcaster Pat Siedlecki to discuss the current situation in Lethbridge leading into the first game of the season between the two clubs. We’ll also talk more about the US Division road swing for the Broncos and the way they bounced back with a 3-1 home ice win over Edmonton on Saturday.

The Saskatchewan Roughriders lost a close game against Calgary on Saturday 29-25 and will finish second in the CFL’s West Division. That means Calgary will get home field for the winner of Saskatchewan and BC in the first round of the playoffs. We’ll get Calgary Sun writer Scott Fisher’s take on that and maybe some of his thoughts on the WHL as he also covers that league for his newspaper.

Golden West Radio Riders reporter Marc Smith will also join us to talk Riders and to give us a look at the feeling in Moose Jaw after the Toronto Maple Leafs announced they’re keeping former Warriors star Morgan Rielly in the NHL this season.

The Swift Current Midget AAA Home Hardware Legionnaires lost both games to the Saskatoon Contacts on the weekend as they get set to host Regina on Tuesday. Coach Dale Vossen will offer his thoughts on the state of the Legionnaires right now.

We also want your thoughts!

Join the discussion every Monday from 6pm to 7pm by texting us at 306-773-0941, tweeting Shawn @shawnmullin or come say hi at BP.

Listen live at 94.1 FM or click here for our online stream.

Overtime is brought to you by Home Hardware in downtown Swift Current.
