After a tough and sobering loss against the Edmonton Oil Kings last night, the Broncos are right back at it against a very skilled Brandon Wheat Kings squad. Brandon is undefeated so far this season and as dangerous a team as there is in the conference. This will be another big test for Swift Current as we see if they can bounce back from a turnover laden effort last night. Dillon Heatherington is back from NHL camp tonight and the Broncos also welcome Andrew Johnson back to the lineup for the first time since pre-season play. The overage situation has kept him out in favour of veteran defenceman Stepehn Shmoorkoff. Tonight Johnson reunites with Zac Mackay and Tanner LeSann in an attempt to re-create the success they had as a checking line last season.

We’ve championed you from the West Coast over the past three years – wishing you the very best in Vancouver – with any luck – we could possibly be in attendance cheering you on! Move forward with a positive stance – this WILL be your year (as we hope it will be for the CANUCKS!) Thanks, Shawn, for the updates!
