The Bruins have sent Jake DeBrusk back to the WHL after a long stint at camp and a couple of NHL pre-season games. It’s a big boost for the Broncos to get their 40 goal scorer and one of their key leaders back in time for a big Alberta road swing next weekend. I was talking Ryan Switzer from the Broncos office today and he pointed out those were the first two games DeBrusk has ever missed in his time here… but of course he had a pretty good excuse. He might have another one when World Juniors roll around in December. For now I’m sure the Broncos are just happy to have their most proven offensive weapon back.

DeBrusk has actually missed 1 game in his time here – game 4 of the playoffs last year (of course, he had a pretty good excuse then as well).
