The good news keeps on coming for Broncos forward Lane Pederson. He signed an NHL deal with Arizona a couple weeks ago, was named an alternate captain here and now has been added to Team WHL for the CIBC Canada/Russia Series. Pederson will go head-to-head with Broncos D Artyom Minulin who is playing for Russia.

Tonight the injury riddled Broncos call up Josh Baker who almost made the club out of training camp. I don’t know the status of Kaden Elder after he was knocked out of Wednesday’s game. If he’s in the Broncos would have a full roster otherwise they could be one short. We will find out during pre-game. It’s always hard fought hockey against Calgary and this weekend shouldn’t be any different.
